How to Use Transsion Software Download Tool

On this page, you will find the instructions to use the Transsion Software Download Tool to flash or install the firmware (ROM) on devices powered by Mediatek, Spreadtrum, and Qualcomm Chipset.

Caution : Flashing or installing firmware using the Software Download Tool will wipe the data from the device. Therefore, we recommend you to take a backup of your data before following the tutorial below.




Install Firmware (ROM) using Transsion Software Download Tool

  • 1. Download and install MediaTek Driver, SpredTurm Driver and Qualcomm Driver on the computer (if in case all the three drivers are already installed on the computer, then SKIP this step).

  • 2. Download Stock Firmware (scatter or .pac or .xml based) of your Mobile Device and extract it on the computer (if in case you have already downloaded the Stock Firmware, then SKIP this Step or else you can find the Stock Firmware on realfirmware.com or through Google).

  • 3. Download and Extract Software Download Tool on the computer.

  • 4. Open SWD_AfterSales.exe to Launch the Tool:




  • 5. Once the tool is launched, you will be able to see the following window:

  • 6. Click on the Settings

  • 7. Click on button:

  • 8. Locate the Stock Firmware that you have downloaded or want to install on the Mobile Device and Click on Open button:




  • 9. Click on Confirm button:

  • 10. Click on Start button:

  • 11. Now, the Software Download Tool will validate the firmware:

  • 12. Power off your Mobile Device > Press and Hold Volume UP and Down and Connect it to the Computer using the USB Cable.




  • 13. Once the Device is detected by the tool, leave the volume keys. Post detecting the device, Flashing or installation process will start automatically and may take 5-10 minutes to complete:

  • 14. Once the flashing or installation process is completed, you will be able to see the Green PASS message on the tool.

  • Congratulations! Now, Close the Tool and Disconnect your Mobile Device from the Computer.
